Trademarks are going to love the .FEEDBACK new gTLD

How are Trademarks going to react when they notice about the .feedback new gTLD's plan?

According to Jean Guillon:
This is another peace discovered by DomainIncite about a new gTLD applicant who wants Trademarks to pay attention to its project - and register - domain names ending in ".feedback". It is quite possible that we start to hear about the PDDRP procedure earlier than expected.

Good to know for Trademarks:
There is a procedure named the PDDRP: "The Trademark PDDRP generally addresses a Registry Operator's complicity in trademark infringement on the first or second level of a New gTLD. At least 30 days prior to filing a formal complaint, a rights holder must notify the Registry of the alleged infringing conduct and express a willingness to meet to resolve the issue".

Contact Nameshield to learn more about this procedure.

Extract from the article:
"The other piece of ‘innovation’ will see all .feedback domains — including the 5,000 brands — point by default to a hosted service that facilitates comment and criticism".
