The world is about to collapse (again)

New gTLDs could make internet unstable.
According to Verisign:
"Verisign's rundown of business risks spends quite a lot of time worrying about the impact of this program, from increased competition to the fact that its contracts to run the .com and .net registries may change in future. It also worries about how the upcoming transition of the IANA contract from the US government to ICANN may impact its role as the "root zone maintainer".
