4 things you should know about new gTLDs

A "club is a club": sports clubs, fan clubs, night clubs to use a domain name ending in ".club".
From the author:

  1. How will generic top level domains effect search? Will Google favor these on the search engine results page?
  2. Will the .BRAND domain name be given less or more weight than a .COM?
  3. How will the new location TLDs be handled?
  4. If I decide to move my domain from .COM to a new gTLD, how can I move my website without losing search engine ranking.

Reminders:
  • Trademarks should submit their datas into the Trademark Clearinghouse to participate in future Sunrise Periods. The official TMCH calendar is available here;
  • For a better recognition, SEO clubs should register a ".club" domain name at their accredited Registrar.
