Wine applications: this is finally coming to an end!

A "satisfactory private arrangement" was found between new gTLD applicant Donuts for .WINE and .VIN and the European Commission but it appears that there won't be any change to the Registry agreement. It also appears that details of the deal cannot be disclosed (...)

Simple question: if wine Geographical Indications are now better protected : why not explain why?

Extract: "Details of the deal have not been disclosed, but Donuts does not appear to have committed to anything that could create compliance problems with ICANN in future".
