Brands have suggested that the ICANN new gTLD program should be improved.

Extract: "Under the URS, disputed names are only suspended, but users want domains to be transferred. “That will be considered in our next new gTLD programme application round,” said Betremieux, although there is no set date for the next round because ICANN is still processing current issues. “We will look at areas and assess what was fair and in line with the policy of the committee.” ICANN has confirmed that it will launch a new round of gTLDs, but only when it has addressed the "lessons" from the first round, added Betremieux".
