ICANN new gTLD security breaches

Extract: "As we reported, a simple configuration error by ICANN in third-party software allowed users of the Global Domains Division portal — all new gTLD applicants — to view confidential data belonging to other applicants".

Note: did you know there is a TLD which means "trademark"? The ".商标" IDN stands for “.trademark” in Simplified Chinese.

Reminder:
  • Security Clubs can register a ".club" domain name with UniRegistry;
  • Brands can submit their trademark data into the Trademark Clearinghouse ("TMCH") to participate in a Sunrise Period. The TMCH calendar is available here;
  • Need to promote or sell your new gTLD? Contact Jovenet Consulting.
